Your mission

App Ownership & Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end strategy for PUMA’s global App experience, ensuring the platform supports the company’s broader Direct-to-Consumer and commercial objectives.

  • Define and maintain a clear App vision, roadmap, and prioritisation framework, ensuring the App evolves as a key engagement and commerce channel within PUMA’s digital ecosystem.

  • Collaborate closely with the Global CX Director, commercial teams, and senior digital stakeholders to align the App strategy with business priorities, consumer expectations, and market opportunities.

  • Translate business goals, consumer insights, and commercial opportunities into clear product strategies that guide the evolution of the App experience.

  • Create and maintain high-quality strategy documents, narratives, and decision frameworks that align stakeholders across Digital, Commerce, and Technology.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and develop the cross-functional teams responsible for the App experience, including Product Owners, designers, and engineering squads.

  • Provide clear direction, prioritisation, and decision-making across all App initiatives.

  • Ensure strong collaboration between product, engineering, design, data, and research teams, fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

  • Act as the senior escalation point for product decisions and delivery challenges relating to the App.

Delivery & Execution

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all App initiatives, balancing long-term platform evolution with short-term business priorities.

  • Establish and maintain effective ways of working, governance, and planning frameworks that enable teams to move efficiently from discovery through to delivery.

  • Work closely with engineering leadership to ensure the App platform evolves in a scalable and sustainable way.

  • Manage dependencies between the App and other digital portfolios such as commerce, discovery, membership, and checkout.

App Platform & Infrastructure

  • Own the product direction for the PUMA App platform and infrastructure, ensuring the technical foundations support long-term scalability, performance, and innovation.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering leadership to define platform capabilities, technical roadmaps, and infrastructure improvements required to support the App experience.

  • Ensure the App platform integrates effectively with wider digital systems and services across the PUMA ecosystem.

  • Support the continuous evolution of the App as a high-performance platform for commerce, engagement, and consumer interaction.

Performance & KPIs

  • Own the KPIs and outcomes for the App channel, including engagement, retention, conversion, and commercial contribution.

  • Use data and insights to guide prioritisation, evaluate performance, and drive continuous optimisation of the App experience.

  • Clearly communicate progress, risks, and performance insights to senior stakeholders across the organisation.

  • Be accountable for delivering measurable impact through improvements to the App experience.

Stakeholder Management

  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders across D2C, Technology, Commercial, Brand, Marketing, and Analytics.

  • Work directly with the Global CX Director to ensure the App strategy supports broader digital experience goals.

  • Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure the App effectively supports merchandising, campaigns, and revenue opportunities.

  • Represent the App in senior forums, articulating strategy, priorities, and trade-offs with clarity and confidence.

  • Align global and regional teams around a unified vision for the App experience.

Your talent

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience working in digital product management, ideally within large-scale eCommerce, retail, or Direct-to-Consumer environments.

  • 4+ years in senior product leadership roles, leading product teams responsible for consumer-facing digital platforms.

  • Proven experience leading mobile app products or platforms, including ownership of mobile app strategy and roadmap.

  • Demonstrated success managing cross-functional product teams including Product Owners, designers, and engineers.

  • Experience operating within complex global organisations, aligning product initiatives with commercial and customer experience goals.

  • Strong track record delivering consumer-facing digital products that drive measurable commercial impact.

  • Experience collaborating with senior leadership teams to define strategy and prioritise investment in digital capabilities.

Skills & Capabilities

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate long-term vision into clear product roadmaps.

  • Deep understanding of mobile app ecosystems, mobile commerce, and consumer engagement platforms.

  • Ability to balance consumer experience, commercial objectives, and technical constraints.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders across Digital, Technology, and Commercial teams.

  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to clearly articulate product strategy and decisions.

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret product performance metrics and guide optimisation initiatives.

  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, iterative product environments.
