Your mission
As Teamhead, Digital Product Portfolio, you will own the vision, strategy, and performance of a critical area of PUMA’s global digital experience. This could include portfolios such as Membership & Loyalty, Entry Points & Product Discovery, or Basket & Checkout. You will lead multiple cross-functional product teams made up of Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Researchers. You are accountable for setting clear strategic direction, ensuring strong execution, and delivering measurable business and customer outcomes. This role combines strategic leadership, operational excellence, and outcome ownership. You will be responsible not only for what the teams build, but why they build it, how success is measured, and how the portfolio evolves over time.
Portfolio Ownership & Strategy
Own the end-to-end strategy for your digital product portfolio, aligned to PUMA’s D2C and commercial objectives
Define and maintain a clear portfolio vision, roadmap, and prioritisation framework
Translate business goals and consumer needs into coherent, actionable product strategies
Create and maintain high-quality strategy documents, narratives, and decision frameworks that align stakeholders at all levels.
Leadership & Team Management
Lead and develop a team of Product Owners and Product Managers, providing clarity, direction, and coaching
Oversee multiple cross-functional squads, ensuring effective collaboration between product, engineering, design, data, and research
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement across your portfolio
Act as a senior point of escalation and decision-making within your domain.
Delivery & Execution
Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all teams within the portfolio
Establish and maintain effective ways of working, governance, and planning rituals
Balance discovery and delivery to ensure teams are solving the right problems while shipping impactful solutions
Manage dependencies across portfolios and functions in a complex, global organisation.
Performance & KPIs
Own the KPIs and outcomes for your portfolio, including commercial, customer, and experience metrics
Use data and insights to guide prioritisation, evaluate performance, and drive continuous optimisation
Clearly communicate progress, risks, and results to senior stakeholders
Be accountable for delivering measurable impact at portfolio level.
Stakeholder Management
Partner closely with senior stakeholders across D2C, Technology, Brand, Marketing, and Analytics
Represent your portfolio in senior forums, articulating strategy, progress, and trade-offs with clarity and confidence
Align global and regional needs within a unified product direction.
Your talent
Experience
Significant experience in senior digital product leadership roles (e.g. Head of Product, Group Product Manager, Portfolio Lead, or similar)
Proven experience owning and leading complex digital product portfolios at scale, ideally within eCommerce or D2C environments
Strong background working with cross-functional product teams in agile or product-led organisations
Demonstrated accountability for business-critical KPIs and outcomes.
